Every incident that happens in this universe has both positive and negative reactions, depending upon the nature of the incident. Our future lives are shaped by the actions we take in our present life and the actions we took in our past lives. This concept is what the Rishis and Siddhas refer to as Karma.

Just as there is godliness that works openly within every human being, there is also a deadly beast hiding inside them, working secretly and sometimes even openly. The manner in which it operates continuously evolves, adapting itself based on the four Yugas: Kridha Yuga, Dridha Yuga, Dvapara Yuga, and Kali Yuga.

Its cunning nature makes it difficult to understand. In Kali Yuga, not only in humans but in all living beings, godliness deteriorates, and brutality ascends and works openly.

As evidence, the Rishis and Siddhas state that among the total number of human beings, 75% will see the world and all living beings without love, mercy, kindness, and compassion. From kings (rulers) to the last citizen, this lack of godliness is pervasive. From parents to children, husband to wife, owner to worker, and in all stages of life, people will not be true to themselves or to others. This will continue even in acts of prayer and worship, where public welfare is disregarded, and selfishness prevails.

The accumulation of negative energy from numerous births, ingrained in a person’s mind and transmitted through genes, leads to the deterioration of godliness and the ascent of brutality. This results in widespread distrust and suspicion, actions that the Rishis and Siddhas warn will lead to the end of the world.

The Rishis and Siddhas recognized these actions as the cause of potential world destruction. To save the universe and guide it towards a good path, they sought to eliminate brutality and fill all living beings with godliness to attain all kinds of wealth. They researched karma, considering one’s previous births, and created remedies by consolidating various methods of puja, worship, meditation sutras, and the theory of planetary motion, documenting them in palm leaf bundles. These writings were intended to save the universe and guide it by prescribing what a person requires only in necessary quantities.
